I didn't like this piece when I first created it. It actually didn't look like the abstract masterpiece it is now. It went through quite a transformation. But I didn't think I'd ever show it because initially it just wasn't what I envisioned. So I put it away and figured it would just be one of those unfinished pieces someone will find after I'm dead, and then sell for a million dollars, lol. However, I decided one day to give it another look and try something different. I think that's the beauty of creating art in this format--there are no limits to what you can visualize. Not only that, I can also create and recreate as many times as I want without "wasting supplies." So I tried different techniques, switched colors, and took my (digital) brush and splashed and swirled more colors around until I essentially...fell in love. It wasn't what I initially visualized when I first captured this photo, but when you let yourself surrender to creativity, you can open up something old and once cast aside, and visualize it as something magnificent and new.
